Great Wolf Lodge

Our good friends, the Tibbetts, were visiting from CA and invited us to come and play with them. Ben was out of town so I took the kids and headed out there. Ben joined us for the last day as we all swam, ate, played MagiQuest and just hung out. It was nice to have a little "mini" vacation for us too (we didn't stay overnight but we still had tons of fun)

The kids in Jessica's Wolf Den. It was bunk beds with a cool flat screen TV. They have the whole place decorated so you feel like you're out in the woods.I honestly didn't think Colben would EVER go down a slide but he shocked us all when he decided that this one wasn't scary- he went down this slide at least 30 times. I'm so proud of him!!
Big D didn't surprise me when she announced that she was going to go down the slide- she only went down once and decided that was enough for her.
I think this was the only time Danika went down this one- I don't know why she didn't like it but she would rather walk around the explore everything than just go down the slides.
After we were done swimming we walked around the lobby area and the kids just HAD to get their picture taken with this bear.
We had some dinner and the kids were so good- for about an hour and then they got a little out of control- they wanted to keep doing the MagiQuest!!
For those of you who don't know what MagiQuest is- it's the coolest game ever, the kids get their wands along with a booklet, inside are clues where they can find different things (jewels, pictures, objects) and they are on the different floors of the hotel. Each hotel has a different name (Enchanted Woods, Pixies Perch) so you're constantly either getting on the elevator, or going through the "Secret Stairwells" looking for the different things. When they find the object, they wave their wand at it and it comes alive. Once they've completed their "quests" they can move onto "Adventures"- we easily spent 12+ hours doing this.
While we were waiting for Colben to go down the slides again, Danika discovered these fun water spouts and decided to give herself an enema- she thought they were hilarious!!
This is as close as my kids would get- of course at the last minute, Danika had to turn around the look at the water!!
After swimming, there was a play going on in the lobby- all these characters "come alive" and sing songs. The kids loved it!
Before I left for that night we wanted to get pics of the kids- this is Jimmy and he is Danika's new buddy- she loved getting bounced on his knee and he loved playing with her and putting her on his shoulders while we ran around doing the MagiQuest- he was super cute with her.
Day 3- I had den meeting and Ben had gotten home from Israel that morning so he took the kids swimming and I met them after my meeting. He loved the water park (especially all the fun tube rides)
